The Commission of Sanctions and Complaints concluded the review of election complaint no.33, with object ” Appeal to Decision no.347, dated 04.05.2021 of SEC, “On approval of the Aggregate Table of election results, Gjirokastër Region”, filed by the Socialist Movement for Integration Party, complaint no. 41, with object “Appeal to Decision no.347, dated 04.05.2021 of SEC, “On approval of the Aggregate Table of Results of the election zone Gjirokastër Region, invalidity of elections held on 25.04.2021, Ordering the rerun of elections for Gjirokastër Region” filed by the coalition DP- Alliance for Change” and Complaint no. 52 with object “Appeal to the Decision no.347, dated 04.05.2021 of the SEC and announcement of the invalidity of elections in election zone of Gjirokastër Region”, filed by complainant Mr.Kreshnik Merxhani, independent candidate.
At the end of the review, CSC decided to reject the election complaints.
In addition, CSC reviewed the election complaints no.34, with object ” Appeal to Decision no.339, dated 04.05.2021 of the SEC, “On approval of the Aggregate Table of Results of election zone Berat Region”, Recount and reevaluation of ballots for EAZs no. 63, 64, 65, 66,67 and 68″, filed by the complainant Socialist Movement for Integration”, Complaint no.35, with object ” Appeal to SEC Decision no.339, dated 04.05.2021 “On approval of the Aggregate Table of Election Results, Berat Region” , declaring the invalidity of elections in the voting centers in Berat Region and rerun of elections”, filed by the Socialist Movement for Integration and complaint no.42 with object ” Appeal to SEC Decision no.339, dated 04.05.2021 “On approval of the Aggregate Table of Election Results, in election zone of Berat Region”, declaring the invalidity of elections held on April 25,2021, ordering the election rerun for Berat Region,” filed by DP-Alliance for Change coalition.
At the end of administrative review against the Decision of the State Election Commissioner Decision no. 339, dated 04.05.2021 “On approval of the Aggregate Table of Election Results, in election zone of Berat Region, for electoral subjects and candidates for MP in April 25,2021 parliamentary elections”, and declaring the invalidity of elections in the election zone of Berat Region, CSC, with a majority of votes decided to reject complaints no. 35 and no. 42 and leave in force SEC Decision no. 339, dated 04.05.2021 “On approval of the Aggregate Table of Election Results, in the election zone of Berat Region”
This Decision is of intermediate form and will be part of the final Decision to be ruled by CSC after it reviews the complaint no. 34 “Amendment to Decision no. 339, dated 04.5.2021 and recount of ballots in EAZ from 63 to EAZ no.68 in Berat Region”, which according to the intermediate Decision of CSC is to be reviewed together with complaint no. 35 and no. 42.
