The State Election Commissioner, in a public session decided to fill the vacancy in Korca Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi member list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Alit Xhezar and the vacancy in Tirana Municipality Council with the candidate from the multi member list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Rodolf Xhillari.

In today’s session, the Commissioner reviewed the results of verifications made by the Attorney General for the self-declaring subject  Mr. Arsen Tare Belaj, candidate for MP proposed by Democratic Belief Party, Vlora Region, pursuant to the law no. 138/2015 “On guaranteeing the integrity of individuals who are elected, appointed, or exercise public functions”.

The Commissioner decided to end the administrative procedure with no final decision for the self-declaring subject Arsen Tare Belaj, candidate for MP in April 25, 2021 elections, as it is deemed that the scope and purpose of in depth verification is no longer valid.
