In today’s public session, the State Election Commissioner announced the decisions for four administrative reviews of the denunciations made by the Qëndresa Qytetare organization for the by-elections for mayor on March 6, 2022.

For the denunciation against Mrs. Eriselda Sefa, candidate for mayor of Lushnja, Mr. Haki Çako Director of the National Agency of Civil Protection and the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, for administrative violations within the election campaign, the Commissioner decided the completion of the administrative review of the denunciation against Ms. Eriselda Sefa, z. Haki Çako, the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania” and the termination of the administrative investigation against the Socialist Party of Albania. The commissioner decided the finding of an administrative violation by Mrs. Eriselda Sefa, Mayor and at the same time candidate for mayor in the Municipality of Lushnja, proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania” and to ask the Complaints and Sanctions Commission to impose an administrative sanction on Ms. Eriselda Sefa.

For the denunciation against Mrs. Majlinda Angoni, candidate for mayor of Shkodra, Mr. Haki Çako, Director of the National Agency for Civil Protection and the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, the Commissioner decided to complete the administrative review of the denunciation against Mr. Haki Çako and Mrs. Majlinda Angoni candidate for Mayor of Shkodra proposed by the electoral subject Socialist Party of Albania for the by-elections for mayor of March 6, 2022. Failure to ascertain the violation by Mr. Haki Çako and Mrs. Majlinda Angoni and the termination of the administrative investigation against the Socialist Party of Albania.

For the denunciation against Mrs. Majlinda Angoni, candidate for mayor of Shkodra, Director and Doctor at the Health Center “Rrethina”, Ambulance Dobraç, Mrs. Edona Tafa and the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, the Commissioner decided to complete the administrative review of the denunciation against Ms. Edona Tafa zj. Majlinda Angoni. The Commissioner also decided the finding of a violation by Ms. Majlinda Angoni, and by Mrs. Edona Tafa, as well as to ask the Appeals and Sanctions Commission to impose an administrative sanction.

For the denunciation against Mrs. Emirjana Sako, candidate for mayor of Durrës, Mr. Arben Ahmetaj, Minister of State for Reconstruction and Reform Program and the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, the Commissioner decided to complete the administrative review of the denunciation against Ms. Emiriana Sako, z. Arben Ahmetaj and the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”. The commissioner decided not to find the violation by Mrs. Emiriana Sako, and Mr. Arben Ahmetaj and the interruption of the administrative investigation against the Socialist Party of Albania.

Also, in today’s session was finalised the administrative review for the two denunciations of the Organization ” Qëndresa Qytetare “, for administrative violations in the framework of the election campaign for the by-elections for mayor on March 6, 2022 to :

1. Edison Memolla to the Mayor of Rrogozhina, Mr. Denis Dedej Head of the Cultural Center “Haxhi Memolla”, Mrs. Ana Dhamo Director of the Regional Education Directorate of Durrës, Mr. Luan Shehi Director of the Local Office of Pre-University Education Rrogozhina, Mrs. Margarita Dedej, Director of the School “Haxhi Qehaj” and Mrs. Mimoza Bidaj to the Director of Rrogozhina Kindergarten ”;
2. Fatmir Juka, Director of the Shkodra Art Gallery, Mr. Xhemal Bushati, the candidate for mayor of Shkodra and the Democratic Party, for administrative violations within the election campaign, for the by-elections for mayor on March 6, 2022 ”.

The announcement of the decisions will be made in the coming session.
