Today, the State Commissioner of Elections examined the result of the verification of the Attorney General for the self-declaring entity Mr. Dashamir Mehmet Tahiri, candidate for deputy proposed by the Movement for Change Party, Vlorë district, under law no. 138/2015 “On guaranteeing the integrity of persons who are elected, appointed or exercise public functions”.

The commissioner decided to declare the administrative procedure completed without a final decision for the self-declaring entity Mr. Dashamir Tahiri, as it is estimated that the object and purpose of the administrative procedure started before the election day has been lost.

The SEC examined the result of the verification of the Attorney General for the self-declaring entity Mr. Ashim Hysen Tafilaku, candidate for deputy proposed by the Socialist Movement for Integration Party, Shkodër district. The commissioner decided that the self-declaring entity Mr. Tafilaku is not in the condition of exercising the public function of the deputy.

Also, examined the result of the verification of the General Prosecutor for the self-declaring subject Mr. Artan (Ergi) Nazmi Bitri, candidate for deputy proposed by the Socialist Party of Albania, Durrës district. The commissioner decided that the self-declaring entity Mr. Bitri is in the conditions of the prohibition to be elected/exercise the public function of deputy.

In today’s public session, the Commissioner also decided to fill the vacancies created in:

1. The Tirana Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mrs. Gresa Fatmir Hoxha;
2. The Durrës Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Valter Abaz Hoxha;
3. The Mallakastër municipality council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mrs. Enkeleda Resmi Hyskaj;
4. The Lezhë municipality council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Gjon Pjeter Ndoci;
5. The municipal Council of Vau i Dejës, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Social Democratic Party of Albania, Mr. Bujar Zija Puka;
6. Dibër municipality council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the G 99 Party, Mrs. Eligerta Haki Xheka.

The SEC decided not to fill the vacancy created in the Fier municipality council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the Social Democracy Party, Ms. Xhulia Agim Oshafi (Dervishi) because she does not meet the condition of permanent residence in the local government unit where she ran.
