The Central Elections Commission has proposed some recommendations for the amendment of Electoral Code, to the Special Parliamentary Commission on Implementation of the Electoral Reform in Albanian Parliament,

The CEC has recommended to consider changes that concern the way/form  and organization of the Election Commissions ( (CEAZ, VCC CT) , the regulations concerning the funding of electoral reform and use of public assets and the campaign by public officials.

The CEC suggests that some rules that concern the organization and conduct of local government elections can be partially reviewed,  within a two-three month period, without waiting for a total review of the Electoral Code.

The proposals also address the recommendations of the final report of OSCE/ODIHR and the CEC is ready to give its contribution for the Special Parliamentary Commission on Implementation of the Electoral Reform regarding several aspects of the election process.
