The  CEC attended an event focused on election integrity and justice at the invitation of International Foundation on Electoral Systems (IFES),  in the fourth edition of the Week of Integrity in Albania. The topic of this year was ” Election justice and Integrity”.

 The members of Complaints and Sanctions Commission, Mr. Koli Bele and Mr.Ledio Braho led the panel and discussed on how the electoral and political rights are human rights, therefore access to justice is fundamental for the protection of the right of the individual to exercise these rights.

The participants in the event discussed the importance of transparent and efficient mechanism of the election law in preservation of the integrity of the election process.
