The State Election Commissioner Mr. Ilirjan Celibashi attended today the opening of the Election Academy,  that will train young people selected as  observers of the electoral breaches and misuse of public resources,  organized by the Civic Resistance and funded by British Embassy in Albania. 

Present in this event were also OSCE Ambassador in Albania, Mr. Guido De Sanctis, Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy,  Mr. Alexis Hupin, Head of Political Section of EU Delegation in Albania and representatives of the High State Audit. 

Commissioner Celibashi underlined the importance of a greater activism of civil society, by monitoring different aspects of the election process and expressed his appreciation for so far and qualitative engagement of the Civic Resistance, in reporting election related issues. 

In front of the young people, Commissioner Celibashi stressed that the CEC welcomes their observation efforts in preventing the use of state resources during the campaign and reporting of political activities camouflaged ad activities of public interest.
