Today, the State Election Commissioner, in a public session, reviewed the request of the Coalition “Liberal Right Alliance”, for registration as an electoral subject in the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023.
The Commissioner decided to register the “Liberal Right Alliance” coalition (PBKD – BLD – PBD), ALD, with its members as follows:
- Party “National Democratic Front”;
- Party “Liberal Democratic Union”;
- Party “Albanian Democratic Union”.
In this session, the request of the coalition “Together we Win” for registration as an electoral subject in the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023 was also reviewed. The Commissioner decided to register the coalition “Together we Win” (PBDNJ – PDK – PL) ” BF”, with its members as follows:
- “The party of freedom“ (PL)
- “Christian Democratic Party of Albania” (PDK);
- “Party of the Union for Human Rights” (PBDNJ).
Furthermore, it was decided the implementation of decision 27, dated 16.3.2023, of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission” and the registration of the party “Democratic Party” with Vice President Mr. Enkelejd Alibeaj, in the capacity of the acting chairman of the Party, as an electoral subject in the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023.
Commissioner reviewed the results of the verification of the General Prosecutor Office, for the subject of self-declarations Mr. Rodolf Llambi Xhillari, member of the Tirana Municipality Council”. At the end of this verification, it was found that Mr. Rodolf Llambi Xhillari, member of the Tirana Municipal Council, is not included in the conditions of non-exercising the function.
An amendment was approved in decision no. 100, dated 8.3.2023, “On the determination of the number of candidates in the multi-name list submitted by the electoral subjects for each Election Zone for the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023”, which defines that the number of candidates in the multi-name lists for Kuçova municipality becomes 32.
