The Complaints and Sanctions Commission reviewed today the complaint no. 63, filed by the complainant Demo- Christian Alliance Party of Albania and object “Appeal to decision no. 260, dated 16.05.2023 of KZAZ no. 07, Pukë Municipality, “On approval of the aggregate table of results for Pukë Municipal Council elections”, requesting the recount and reevaluation of valid and invalid votes” and complaint no. 70, filed by complainant Progressive Alliance Party and object “Request for recounting the boxes of the Municipal Council no. 0408, 0415, 0422, 0424, 0425, 0430. Change of the aggregate table of the result of Pukë Municipal Council, according to the result of the recount”

CSC accepted the evidence submitted by the complaining party and decided to examine the ballots in the ballot boxes for the municipal council with no. 0422/00, 0425/00, 0415/00, 0415/01, 0430/00.

Based on the examination of ballots, it resulted that:

1. In VC 0425/00, PR out of 0 votes in the Aggregate Table of Results (TPR) approved by CEAZ, 64 valid votes were found; PDIU out of 64 votes in the TPR approved by CEAZ, 0 valid votes were found.
2. In VC 0415/00, DP out of 3 votes in the TPR approved by CEAZ, 2 valid votes were found, FRD out of 7 votes in the TPR approved by CEAZ, 3 votes were found, ALD out of 51 votes in the approved TPR by CEAZ, 52 votes were found, PSD from 83 in TPR approved by CEAZ, 82 votes were found, PD from 3 in TPR approved by CEAZ, 2 votes were found.
3. In VC 0415/01 out of 21 invalid votes in the TPR approved by CEAZ, 22 ballots were found, PSD out of 119 votes approved in the TPR approved by CEAZ, 118 votes were found.
4. No differences were found in VC 0422/00.
5. In VC 0430/00, PSD out of 15 votes in the TPR approved by CEAZ-, 14 votes were found, PD out of 70 votes in the TPR approved by CEAZ, 71 votes were found.

At the end of the review, CSC decided to partially uphold the request no. 63 and no. 70, and correct the Aggregate Table of Results (TPR) for Pukë municipality council, according to the findings from the examination of ballots by CSC.

CSC reviewed the complaint  no. 68, filed by Democratic Christian Alliance Party of Albania and object “Appeal to decision no. 86, dated 16.05.2023 of KZAZ no. 76, Permet Municipality, “On approval of the Aggregate table of results for the elections of the Permet Municipality Council”.

At the end of the examination, CSC decided to dismiss the request and to uphold the decision of the CEAZ no. 76, Permet.

Complaint no. 73, filed by Demo- Christian Alliance Party, and object “Appeal to decision no. 196, dated 18.05.2023 of CEAZ no. 80, Gjirokastra. Declaration of invalidity of elections in VC no. 4310, VC no. 4262, VC no. 4242 etc., electoral unit Gjirokastër Municipality”, will be reviewed on Friday, 30.05.2023.
