The Regulatory Commission, during today’s public session approved some procedural deadlines regarding the rerun of elections for Mayor of Rrogozhine Municipality to be held on July 23, 2023. The deadlines approved below:

1. Election campaign for Mayoral elections in Rrogozhina starts on July 10, 2023.
2. Rrogozhina Municipality and the institutions that report to it, shall report all the activities of a public character they plan to organize from July 10, 2023 until the day of elections, to the CEC. 
3. The same obligation applies to the public and central institutions, the structures that are under these institutions and state agencies and/or entities, which should report activities of a public character that they plan to organize from July 10, 2023 until the day of elections in the territory of the Municipality of Rrogozhina or for this Municipality.
4.      The activity should be reported no later than three days before the scheduled day of the event.
5. The Audio Visual Media Authority monitors OSHMA-s regarding activities of a public character of public institutions defined in point 2 of this Decision, from July 10, 2023, from 08.00 to 00.00 or depending on the case, until the end of the program. 
6. The political parties eligible to nominate members in the VCC, must submit their proposal for candidates in the respective CEAZ no later than July 13, 2023. CEAZ takes a decision on appointment of the VCC members no later than  July 13, 2023. CEAZ takes a decision on appointment of VCC members within 48 (forty eight) hours from the date of submission of proposals.   
7.      The political parties which are eligible to propose Ballot Counting Team members should submit their proposals in the CEAZ no later than July 17, 2023. CEAZ takes a decision to appoint members of BCC within 48 hours from the submission of proposals. 
8. The requests for accreditation of Albanian observers are submitted to the Central Elections Commission no later than July 17, 2023. Accreditation of observers is done by the CEC no later than July 21, 2023.

9.      The requests for accreditation by electoral subjects running in elections are submitted to the CEAZ no later than July 18, 2023. The deadline for accreditation of observers is July 20, 2023.
10. The results of election polls cannot be published during the last three days before the elections, including the election date, until the closing hour of the voting.  
11. The election campaign monitors are engaged in monitoring, from July 10 to the end of the voting process on July 23, 2023. 

 An amendment to the Decision no.3, dated 06.11.2020 of the Regulatory Commission “On approval of the regulation on the way of operation and conduct of the sessions of the Commission of Sanctions and Complaints” was also adopted. The Regulatory decided that the deadline of appeals, which in the case of early and /or partial elections or in the case of election rerun is 3 (three) days, as stipulated in point 1, 7 and 8 , should become 24 (twenty four hours)…”
