The State Election Commissioner, during today’s public session filled the vacancies opened in Has Municipality Council with the candidate from the multi-member list of the subject “Progressive Alliance LZHK”, Mr. Hamit Sheta and Lezhë Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-member list of the subject “Christian Democratic Party”, Mrs. Silvana Kola.

The report on findigs from the auditing of funds benefited and spent by the political parties for the calendar year 2021 was approved today. 

The commissioner imposed administrative sanction on political parties as follows:

1. Fine at the amount of  60 000 ALL on “Movement for National Development Party”;

The commissioner decided to propose to the Commission of Sanctions and Complaints the following administrative measures against:

1. Fine at the amount of 3,000,000 ALL against the political party “Socialist Party of Albania”;
2. Fine at the amount of 3,000,000 ALL against the political party “Democratic Party”;
3. Fine at the amount of 500,000 ALL against the political party “Democratic Party”;
4. Fine at the amount of 100,000 ALL against the political party “Democratic Party”;
5. Fine at the amount of 92,775 ALL against the candidate for mayor of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mrs. Emirjana Sako and the transfer of funds received to the CEC account, according to article 173, point 5 of the Electoral Code;
6. Fine at the amount of 120,590 lek for the candidate for mayor of the Socialist Party of Albania, Mr. Edison Memolla and the transfer of funds received, to the CEC account, according to article 173, point 5 of the Electoral Code;
7. Fine at the amount of 91,420 ALL for the candidate for mayor of the House of Freedom Coalition, Mr. Bardh Spahia and the transfer of funds received, to the CEC account, according to article 173, point 5 of the Electoral Code;
8. Fine at the amount of 415,000 lek for the candidate for mayor of the House of Freedom Coalition, Mr. Ardian Muka and the transfer of funds received,  to the CEC account, according to article 173, point 5 of the Electoral Code;
