It is reviewed the result of the in-depth verification of the General Prosecutor’s Office for the Mayor of Kuçovo
Today, in a public session the State Election Commissioner decided to substitute the vacancies created in the municipal councils:
- Puka Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “National Arbnore Alliance Party”, Mr. Alexander Frroku.
- Shijak Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mr. Kadri Metaliu.
- Tirana Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Socialist Party of Albania” Mrs. Xheni Hatillari.
- Devoll Municipal Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the subject “Agrarian Environmentalist Party of Albania”, Mrs. Giela Hoxhalli.
Pursuant to law no. 138/2015 “On guaranteeing the integrity of persons who are elected, appointed or exercise public functions”, it was reviewed the result of the verification of the General Prosecutor’s Office for the self-declaring subject Mr. Kreshnik Hajdari, Mayor of Kuçovo Municipality, proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”.
The Commissioner found that Mr. Kreshnik Hajdari, Mayor of Kuçovo Municipality is not included under the conditions of the prohibition to exercise the public function of the Mayor and decided that Mr. Hajdari continue the mandate as Mayor of Kuçovo Municipality.
The two draft decisions “On the approval of the report of findings from the audit of funds received and spent by political parties for the calendar year 2021” and “On the approval of the report of findings from the audit of funds received and spent by political parties participating in local partial elections of March 6, 2022”, were postponed to the next session.
