The State Commissioner of Elections in today’s public session examined the result of the verification of the Attorney General, for the self-declaring subject Mr. Elvis Hajdërlli, candidate for Mayor in the Devoll Municipality, proposed by the electoral subject “Together We Win” Coalition.

The commissioner declared the administrative procedure completed and without a final decision as long as this subject has not obtained a mandate, and in no case and under no circumstances will he be able to take this public function for which the administrative procedure of in-depth verification has been initiated.

The result of the verification of the Attorney General, for the self-declaring subject Mr. Dritan Salkurti, member of the Dibër Municipality Council, for the elections for local government bodies on June 30, 2019, proposed by the electoral entity “Socialist Party of Albania”.

The commissioner declared the administrative procedure completed and without a final decision, as this subject will not be able to take this public function for which the administrative procedure of in-depth verification has been initiated under any circumstances.

Also, the Commissioner filled the vacancies created in four municipal councils:

1. In the Tirana City Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, Mr. Alfred Muharemi;
2. In the Kukes Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “hashtag Initiative Party”, Mr. Averdi Syla;
3. In the Selenica Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject “Agrarian Environmentalist Party of Albania”, Mr. Idai Veizaj;
4. In the Kavajë Municipality Council, with the candidate from the multi-name list of the electoral subject Coalition “Together We Win “, Mrs. Kledja Viskulli.

Review of the result of the verification of the Attorney General for the self-declaring entity Mr. Kristian Shkreli, Mayor of the Municipality of Vau-Dejës, proposed by the electoral entity “Socialist Party of Albania”, was postponed until the administration of information by the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).
